CHURCH LEADERSHIP

In October, the annual church business meeting is held. At this meeting the church officers and committee members are elected as required in the By-laws and the annual budget is passed. The church is democratic in style, allowing members to participate in decisions.

The Oversight Committee has the authority to act on behalf of the congregation between business meetings. The chairman has ongoing communication with all other committee chairmen. Church business meetings are conducted a minimum of twice a year, or as needed, at which time the congregation is given a chance to give input, and given a chance to affirm or reject major church decisions.
